RSVP for Iowa Writers Collaborative Holiday Party in Des Moines by Friday, December 5!
It’s FREE for paid subscribers.
One of the coolest perks of being a paid subscriber to the “Barry Piatt on Politics: Behind the Curtains” column (piatt.substack.com) or any Iowa Writers Collaborative (IWC) column is your invitation to meet IWC writers and their most dedicated readers from across Iowa (and beyond!) at the IWC annual holiday party, December 17 at 7:00 pm in Des Moines.
There is still time to qualify for your FREE party invitation, but you must be a paid subscriber and RSVP by December 5.
Non-paid subscribers can join the festivities for $35, but paid subscribers attend for FREE. It’s our way of saying “Thank You!” for supporting our work of keeping Iowa-focused local journalism - reporting, commentary, features - even poetry and music - alive and well in Iowa as market forces continue to shrink what legacy media is offering.
Here is the basic information about the event - including the RSVP link - from the IWC’s Facebook page:
We are so very grateful for our many talented writers and storytellers that keep Iowans in the know. Thank you readers for your support and engaging with our work. We hope you can join us for our Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 17th at the Harkin Institute in Des Moines at 7pm.
Enjoy an evening with the personalities of the IWC, including an intimate performance by the Weary Ramblers. Free to all paid subscribers; $35 for non-members.
Please RSVP by Friday, December 5; Ticket fee will be collected at the door (if applicable). Looking forward to seeing you soon.
