No words..................no words. I just hope people will pay attention to what Nunn is doing and not doing. He is doing nothing but a well placed photo op and not doing anything to move any substantial legislation forward if it does not include tax cuts for billionaires. Today certainly showed that people are thinking enough is enough and anyone associated with trump is in danger of being voted out.

Today will, indeed, be remembered well by history.

Thank you for writing this informative record about Nunn’s “activity.” I would be interested in reading similar summaries about Iowa’s other three congressional leaders ( or should I say Trump grovelers).

It is amazing how they also (as evidenced by almost daily social media posts) demonstrate their fealty to their leader and EVERY SINGLE action of his administration. Yesterday’s happy birthday President Trump posts were particularly annoying - and telling.

Clearly the deligation of Republican's in Iowa's Congressiona ldeligation is uptotheir asses in alligators and Trumps poor understanding of "draining the swamp" leaves them no running room! One, at least at this moment in time, gets the feeling that waiting for the next election will clear the air, I, on the other hand, think not. So long as Trump is heading the government, he will do the most desperate of things to keep it from getting that far. The protests have sounded a clarion call for immediate action to do away with Trump and Company immediately and not wait any further! With the ham Stringing Trump has already accomplished of tieing up a long list of replacements with his own lackeys, impeachment will not reduce the ill effects he has been driving. Save a full on revolution, with Trump holding the biggest guns, that looks like an impossibility! Our system doesn't allow for a complete change of all legislators at the same time, so even if the next election wipes out all the electable Trumpee's, there will still be a cartel remaining in office. I understand there are traitors who are working on a plan to run Trump as VP un the next Presidential Election with a well funded lackey for President. If that disgusting duo should win, the elected President could resign and guess who would be back making the wrong decisions all over again! Clearly, we are far from out of the woods on this, and the thinking needed to unravel this knot hasn't reached the heights of those who took the time and energy to create it. The next two elections may not change a thing and could very well seal the deal of the facists. Bending a knee to Trump is like expecting to be paid as so many of his contractors have discovered, it simply doesn't happen.

I keep thinking of his tv ad in which he had senior women who “trusted Zach to protect my social security.” Zach never said a word in that ad but he did vote for the BBB that cuts social security.

I have sent several emails to Nunn expressing my concerns on everything. I’m am surprised he will respond, Grassley never answers an email, but it is all smoke and mirrors with Nunn. He does act like he is getting so much done but honestly all he is doing is kissing Trumps butt. As a veteran I don’t know how Nunn can continue to support him when Trump is breaking the constitution every day that Nunn committed to defending. Trust me old Joni has gotten an earful from me too. Iowa we can do better and must.

Trump knows he only has two years to further as many goals as possible, hence the detailed preparations, haste, hyperbole, excesses and testing-of-limits. After that, two years of divided government (the ideal) until 2028 by which time Trump's successes and failures will have been time-tested and an informed election, without him, can ensue.

Nunn's 2026 fate appears ominous and longterm his military, familial and social services will surely outshine his political service.
