Good article, I wonder if the people who elected these people see where we are headed or care?

Many of them don’t and won’t until it is their butt that gets bitten.

Pocket book protests get attention. Think Amazon boycott is due.

Barry offers sage advice. One letter will not change a mind. Constant attention to constituent contacts will empower others. I tell others to share what they are doing. At protests, I offer options from being anonymous to posting on social media.

I tried this effort to keep attention on federal responses to my letter and my follow ups.

It is a technique which gathered 300 views, which is a lot for me.

I had a fantasy call with Grassley........get your Republican Senators together, act as one in your party, and file Impeachment Articles against Trump. Like I said, "Fantasy". But rump can't take one the entire Congress IF THEY STAND TOGETHER. Don't the R's understand they're going to lose ? Sigh. Sorry.

I admire your cool temperament & willingness to push through this stable full of dung. I have zero patience for any of this idiotic kabuki theater. These are my enemies. These are OUR enemies. This is WORLD WAR MAGA.

Barry, you know we're not going to change their minds. And they have professionals on staff making sure that nothing they send out can be used on an opponent's campaign brochure. I honestly wonder when we're going to turn up the heat - sit-ins in their offices, civil disobedience, arrests...And perhaps this is leading up to that. But it can't be the be all and end all. It simply isn't business as usual, as you know.

Harry Truman once said if you want to make some politicians see the light it is often necessary to first make them feel the heat. I worked on Capitol Hill for several decades and know constituents opinions DO Amake a difference, at least they did where I worked.

It remains to be seen if they do with ideology. We have to try. That’s our end of the democracy equasion.

I just don't think our heat compares to the heat of Elon Musk's bankrolled primary threats, so the times have changed since then, in my opinion. I do think we need to keep finding new and innovative ways to get them to feel it.
